We offer a complete refurbishment service for steel security screen doors and window grilles.
To begin the process, we ask that you fill out the form below and include pictures of your door for us to review. If we are able to help we will contact you with a quote. Once the quote is accepted we will begin the refurbishment steps.
The refurbishment process begins with us carefully removing and collecting the entire door and frame from your property. We then transport it back to our workshop, where all existing mesh, hardware, and fittings are removed. The door and frame are then professionally sandblasted back to bare steel, removing rust, corrosion, old paint, and any previous coatings to provide a clean foundation for the restoration.
During this stage, we thoroughly inspect the door and frame for any structural damage, excessive corrosion, or areas that may require repairs. If we identify anything that needs additional work, we will contact you with our recommendations and provide clear pricing for approval before any extra work is carried out.
Once preparation is complete, the door and frame are treated, primed, and powder coated in your chosen colour. You are welcome to keep the existing colour or select a new one, with most colours from the Colorbond range available. Powder coating provides a durable, high-quality finish designed to withstand the elements and keep your door looking great for years to come.
After coating, we reassemble the door using brand new Heavy Duty Stainless Steel mesh and reinstall your existing handles and hardware, ensuring the finished product retains its original character while looking fresh and revitalised. As an optional upgrade, we can professionally polish your existing handles to restore their shine and improve their appearance before reinstallation.
Once all refurbishment work has been completed, we return to your property and reinstall the door and frame in their original position. The result is a fully restored security door that looks refreshed, functions properly, and is ready to provide many more years of reliable service.
